Hi, I’m Alex!
I am a certified life and mindset coach, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and yoga teacher (YT200). Additionally, I am a competitive dancer turned competitive dance competition judge and hold a certificate in kinesiology. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Slippery Rock University, a Masters degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh, and am a former Walt Disney World Fairy Godmother.
Most importantly, I am here to help you and/or your athlete create a sustainable, scalable plan to realize full potential, set boundaries, and become the healthiest, happiest, and most confident person you/they can be.
With over 15 years of experience as a dance instructor, 30 years in the dance industry, and a background as a marathon runner, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful movement can be in building strength, confidence, and resilience. My true passion lies in kinesiology and in creating customized, sustainable strength programs, particularly dancers and athletes.
My professional experience also includes certifications through USA Gymnastics and SafeSport, allowing me to provide a positive, supportive, and effective training environment for every client. As both a coach and a judge, I bring a well-rounded perspective that blends technical excellence, injury prevention, and performance readiness.
What truly fuels my work is supporting all bodies and helping each individual feel their absolute best, regardless of background or fitness level. My own journey—including a hip and femur reconstruction—deeply shaped my approach to training. This life-changing experience transformed how I work with both athletes and the general population, reinforcing the importance of personalized, thoughtful programming for long-term health and long-term wellness.
I’m excited to work with you/your athlete and set/support personal goals—whether you’re training for performance, competition, or simply seeking to move and feel better in your everyday life. Let’s build strength, confidence, and progress together.
